What Our Service Entails
When a member of the Star Truck Tyres team arrives, the mobile tyre service process goes a little something like this:
- We’ll check if it’s safe to fit tyres where your vehicle is currently parked. If not, we’ll advise a new location nearby so we can get to work as soon as possible. For reference, we will need about 75 centimetres of space on either side of your vehicle to be able to remove and fit your tyres.
- If your vehicle doesn’t need to be moved, or once it is in a suitable spot for the tyres to be changed, our technician will then fit your tyres and balance your wheels. Our mobile tyre service vans are able to work with wheels up to 24 inches in diameter.
- We will check your tyres for uneven wear and advise if you’ll need an alignment which can be completed at our store in Dandenong South.

Wheel Alignment
Wheel alignment is a procedure by which our experienced team at Star Truck Tyres checks your vehicle’s suspension and steering to ensure the wheels are equally aligned with the ground and perfectly parallel to one another.

It is relatively easy to throw your alignment off-kilter – simply bumping into a kerb or driving over a pothole is more than enough! It is imperative that you recognise and repair any issues as soon as possible to avoid larger problems down the road.
